Message for Mass Media

In terms of discussion of Civil Procedure Code draft of the Republic of Kazakhstan in several regions, the workshops were held in Aktubinsk, East Kazakhstan, North Kazakhstan and South Kazakhstan oblast courts.

The Supreme Court judges, local court Chairmen and judges, representatives of Akimats, Prosecutor' Office, Justice, law enforcement agencies, NurOtan political party, Practice Law, Notary as well as public organizations took part in the event.

This draft is the result of long and hard work performed by Supreme Court Working Group at execution of the objective set by the Head of state at the VI Congress of Judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning update of Civil Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Bill draft was anticipated by Civil Procedure Code Draft Concept (new version) that determines the purpose of new Law adoption as provision of effective legal protection of constitutional rights and freedom of citizens by modernization of Civil Procedure Legislation for increase of its efficiency, spread of use of technical equipment in activities of courts as well as active application of procedures in legal proceedings.

Mass Media representatives were invited for the purpose of publicity and public informing of the Bill Draft Provisions

Note that new version of Civil Procedure Code is placed on the Supreme Court website www.sud.kz for public debate.
