The judges-coordinators got acquainted with the trends of media communications

Last week, the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan, jointly with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and the American Bar Association (ABA ROLI), held meetings for judges-coordinators on media relations.

The first event was on the trends of media communications in contexts of implementing administrative justice. Aslan Tukiev, the judge of the Supreme Court, when speaking about the first results of the work of the new courts, informed about the need to respect the principle of transparency in the framework of administrative justice.

Supreme Court judges explained to representatives of foreign companies the principles of administrative justice

Kanat Musin, Chairman of the Collegium for administrative cases of the Supreme Court, held a round table on the topic “Administrative justice: a roadmap for foreign investors”.

It was attended by about 120 representatives of foreign companies in the corporate sector, including the World Bank in Kazakhstan, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of China, oil and mining companies, and international law firms.

The Supreme Court plans to update some regulatory resolutions

An online interagency meeting was held at the Supreme Court on implementing the plan of priority measures in the field of human rights.

The representatives of the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Information and Social Development, the Anti-Corruption Agency, the General Prosecutor’s Office, the National Security Committee, and the National Center for Human Rights attended the event.

Nur-Sultan, 4 June 2021 – The latest regular meeting of the International Council of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan was notable not only for its setup but also its representativeness.

Among its participants were the International Council members, including chairpersons of the judicial collegiums and the Supreme Court judges, the heads of its Department, the Academy of Justice, and the foreign diplomatic corps accredited in Nur-Sultan.
