Procedure and list of documents required for admission to a qualification examination for a position of a judge

According to article 29 of the Law «On the judicial system and status of judges of the Republic of Kazakhstan», a citizen of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who attained the twenty-five year age, has a higher  legal education, impeccable reputation and length of service on a legal profession not less than two years, may submit documents.

1. Application (download a form)  - is submitted in the name of a Chairman of the commission, filled in with his/her own hand in a distinct writing, indicating full name of the commission, home address of an applicant, and putting a signature and date.

2. Personnel record card with a photo 4,0х6,0 is filled in with his/her own hand in a distinct writing. The information shall be fully identical to records in a labor book and other documents.

3. Autobiography is filled in with his/her own hand in a distinct writing, putting a signature and date.

4. A notarized copy of a labor book or another document, which certifies a legal length of service. A document should be laced up, numbered and sealed by a notary. For employees, including former, the information, of the work of which are not recorded in a labor book or recorded not fully (Ministry of internal affairs, National Security Committee, financial police authorities and etc.) it is required to submit a certified by a chief of an appropriate personnel department copy of a service record or a certificate, indicating particular positions.

5. Abstracts from orders of dismissal from law enforcement agencies, military service and courts.

6. Notarized copy of a diploma of higher legal education.

7. Efficiency report. It is drawn up under the signature of a chief executive officer or an official, who substitutes him, and sealed by an organization. Along with that a date of its issue and reference number are indicated in the text of a document.

8. Health certificates of the form №086, as well as certificates, issued by appropriate regional psychoneurological and narcological dispensaries.

9. Copy of an identity card. In case of submission of a copy of a document with an expired term, materials shall be returned.

Documents, indicated in sub-clauses 2), 3), 4), 7), 8) of the present clause, are valid within one year from the day of their issuance or execution.

In case of non-fulfillment of established requirements on execution of documents, materials are returned to an applicant in order to remove drawbacks.
