The Academy of Justice signed a Memorandum with the colleagues from Kyrgyzstan

Today, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Academy of Justice under the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan and the Higher School of Justice under the Supreme Court of Kyrgyzstan.

The memorandum on the exchange of experience in the field of education of judges, scientific and innovative activities in the field of justice was signed during the visit of the delegation of teachers of the Higher School of Justice to Kazakhstan.

The Memorandum is focused on increasing the effectiveness of cooperation in the field of teacing judges and judicial personnel, improving the activities of the two universities through interaction in the scientific and innovative field. The parties will cooperate in organizing traineeships and study visits for trainees, staff and faculty, developing and implementing joint training and education programs, conducting lectures (seminars) with the involvement of experts from the two countries on an agreed topic. The activities are also planned to develop business contacts directly between departments of educational institutions.

Speaking, the director of the Higher School of Justice, Raushanai Turgunbayeva expressed her confidence that the signing of the memorandum promotes effective interaction of the judicial bodies of the two countries in implementing joint initiatives to improve court procedure.

In turn, the Rector of the Academy of Justice Tolesh Kaudyrov stressed that this event is one of the steps to improve the skills of judicial personnel for the judicial system of the country as well as to improve joint research in the field of judicial education in the context of the development and integration of legal systems.

In general, the parties noted that mutual cooperation between educational institutions will allow to solve many the problems arising in the process of training personnel for the judicial systems of the two countries effectively and mobilely.

During the visit on 9-13 October of this year the Kyrgyz delegation got acquainted with the Kazakhstani system of educational programs for postgraduate education, retraining, the advanced training of judges and employees of the judiciary. Meetings were also held with the judges of the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan and the leadership of the Department for ensuring the activities of the courts. The guests are shown the advantages of electronic services introduced in the legal proceedings, the work of the Situation Center.
