The judges and prosecutors of Akmola Region discussed the issues of participation of the prosecutor in civil proceedings

The judges and prosecutors of the region met at a "round table" and discussed the participation of the prosecutor in civil proceedings in the Akmola regional court.

Opening the work of the round table, the chairman of the regional court Doszhan Amirov noted that 19 steps of the Plan of the Nation are aimed at ensuring the rule of law and covered the entire spectrum of problems of law enforcement bodies and courts with a view to resolving. "It is the 26th step envisaged to reduce the participation of the prosecutor in the court on civil-law disputes in order to simplify court procedures and speed up the trial process. The Chairman of the Supreme Court at the 7th Congress of Judges drew attention to ensuring a balance between public and private interest. Strengthening the principles of discretion and competitiveness of the parties, the development of economic relations of economic entities, the diversity of forms of ownership have changed the role and functions of the prosecutor's office in the civil process,"Amirov said.

The acting Chairman of the Judicial division for Civil Cases of the Regional Court Altyn Shoinbekova made a presentation on the topic "Participation of the Prosecutor in the Civil Process: Mandatory and Facultative. Comparative law analysis", a judge of the regional court Saule Kiyasheva on the conclusion of a prosecutor in the resolution of a civil case substantially, the head of the Office of the Prosecutor's Office for the representation of the interests of the state in the courts Murat Abishev on the participation of the prosecutor in civil proceedings, the chairmen of the Specialized Inter-district Economical and Kokshetau city court Meyirbek Baigelov and Rinat Shakuanov made an analysis of cases examined with the participation of the prosecutor in the courts this year.

The speakers noted that in comparison with the republican indicator on the participation of prosecutors in civil proceedings in the region, the indicator is higher and therefore they recognized the necessity to take appropriate measures.

Summarizing the discussion, the chairman of the regional court instructed to develop recommendations taking into account the opinions and suggestions of the round table participants on further cooperation between the prosecutor's office and the court in order to reduce the participation of the prosecutor in civil proceedings.
